On January 2, 2011, CBC’s The Sunday Edition will be airing a 16-minute story about Pal-Sac in Toronto. The show starts at 9 a.m. and the segment will air at the top of the second hour of the program. Listen up!
Hi there! A friend called me this afternoon and said I should listen to Michael Enright’s show, as they immediately thought of me when they heard about Pal-sac! Wow! I felt like I was being introduced to my snail-mail writing family members that I had not known existed! I love writing letters and journaling in coffee shops, and have been doing so for at least 10 years in this small town. There is something wonderful about writing in a public coffee house/restaurant, being surrounded by others, yet being in your own world. I guess it kind of reminds me of the days in University when I did so much of my writing in student halls and cafeterias. There’s something in that particular setting that helps me to settle and focus.
I am so glad that you are doing this! And a big thank you CBC for airing this great story!
Wishing your members a Happy New Year of Inspired writing!
